These factors can contribute to a family’s ability to obtain personal transportation. Cars of Hope is there to bridge the gap and help people in our community who are struggling.
how can you help?
donate a car or other services
The need for donated cars, SUVs and minivans are always more than our inventory. We also welcome partnerships with repair shops that are willing to donate their time and or space for the repair of donated cars. Cars of Hope is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
all cars accepted – running or not
When you donate a car, SUV, or minivans, our team of volunteers evaluate any necessary repairs. If the repairs are too costly, we will sell your car and use those funds to repair other cars in our program. If we donate your car, the IRS will allow you to deduct the market value of your car. Cars too costly to repair will be sold and IRS forms will be provided if the car is sold for $500 or more. Cars sold for less than $500 are eligible for a maximum tax deduction up to $500.

Monetary donations help us repair donated cars so they are in working order and ready to be given to those in need.
